Project Portfolio Manager

By managing cross-functional strategic initiatives and projects simultaneously you help Nox execute on business, customer solution, organizational and infrastructure development across the organization while ensuring scope, delivery, timeline and budget. You will work closely with various groups, foster transparent communication and efficient collaboration of team members and stakeholders towards the initiative and Company goals.

You bring a high interest in Nox' business organization and processes, customer solution portfolio and the technical background of Nox products and technology, as well as an intrinsic motivation to continuously collect knowledge. Furthermore, you embrace the highly regulated environment Nox is operating in as a medical device manufacturer and the compliance requirements it adheres to.

The function and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Application of portfolio and project management skills to realize a timely completion of strategic initiatives and projects in business, customer solution, organizational and infrastructure development while addressing all associated business objectives and key results
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and team members to facilitate initiative and project scoping and help driving them towards success by leading and coordinating all related activities for the team through all phases, i.e. planning, execution, monitoring and closure
• Own detailed planning of deliverables, timelines, resources and budgets and drive resource allocation and decision making
• Ensure timely escalation of obstacles that need resolution by decision takers
• Monitor risks and dependencies and drive their identification, assessment and management
• Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders and ensure necessary documentation
• Drive a culture of team work, engagement, transparent communication, accountability, urgency and on-time, on-budget delivery
• Proactively identify and drive cost-saving or process improvement opportunities
• Help prioritize and align strategic projects within strategic initiatives as well as alignment of initiatives inside the overarching strategic initiative portfolio of the business
• Evangelize our strategy execution framework and develop it further
• Demonstrate professional excellence in initiative and project management as well as best practices to any peer inside the Company
• Support all aspects of establishing, developing and maintaining an efficient and holistic strategy management system, incl. execution planning, execution and control

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master degree in project management, engineering or equivalent experience
• 5-8 years experience in multi-project or program management
• Strong analytical skills to investigate problems and processes with a solution-oriented, continuous improvement mindset
• Ability to think abstractly and focus on defined time-sensitive business objectives
• High level of organization and time management skillsincluding attention to detail, budget and cost management
• Positive and open-minded team player who listens and acts timely
• Ability to be adaptable and to adjust level of detail depending on the audience
• Excellent and respectful communication skills and confidence working with peers from all levels within the organization
• Ability to work efficiently in distributed teams across different countries, cultures and time zones
