Purchasing Coordinator

Job Description
As a Purchasing Coordinator, you are responsible for managing the purchasing of products, ensuring timely and cost-effective purchases, and maintaining a strong relationship with suppliers. As we continue to grow and expand, we seek a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to join our team part-time (70-80%).
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with various departments to determine their purchasing needs and requirements
- Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels, anticipating shortage or excess and making necessary adjustments
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and efficient supply chain management.
- Communication with transportation companies
- Maintain supplier relationships, resolving any issues or disputes promptly
- Continuously evaluate and improve purchasing processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or an equivalent level of education or experience
- Experience in logistics and purchasing
- A good eye for numbers and details
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers
- A suitable knowledge of various software used for purchasing
- Good English language skills, both written and oral
