Data Scientist/AI Developer

Job Description
As a Data Scientist/AI developer, you are responsible for developing AI-enabled medical software and researching its performance in clinical use. You will work in a highly motivated team of experts in data science, machine learning, software development, and research. The work requires you to work in interdisciplinary teams of experts with various backgrounds, including technical, regulatory, and clinical.
You will be involved in projects focusing on developing software for data analysis. The ideal candidate has a background in either software development or data science and a strong interest in cross-domain learning. You will be responsible for developing and training AI models for sleep medicine. The work will include data analysis, cleaning, pre-processing, and developing model architectures. As a part of your work, you will be involved in conducting research on novel technologies to be included in our AI-enabled medical devices and conduct research on the performance of the devices before and following their release. You will also contribute to the documentation of the AI-medical devices to fulfill regulatory requirements and contribute to the writing of scientific publications.
We're seeking an individual with experience in data science, machine learning, or software development with an interest in expanding their knowledge in the other fields. You should be passionate about developing cutting-edge AI models and collaborating with stakeholders in healthcare and research in the regulated field of sleep medicine.
Requirements
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in STEM fields.
- Experience in data analytics, statistics, signal processing, machine learning, or related areas.
- Programming experience.
- Good English oral and written communication abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Familiarity with software documentation and coding best practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud development practices and platforms is a plus.
- Knowledge of scientific best practices is a plus.
Technical Stack
Our tech stack includes Python, AWS serverless, and Tensorflow. You are not expected to know all these, but be willing to learn.
